MrHixxx 0 #1 June 2, 2003 Normally not a political troller, but this was e-mailed to me by a friend, kinda funny, kinda frightening. -Hixxx The Resume of George W. Bush Past work experience: I ran for congress and I lost. I bought an oil company, but I couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock for millions. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using tax payer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa to the Chicago White Sox. As governor of Texas: I changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union. Replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. Became president after losing the popular vote by over 500,000 votes, with the help of my father's appointments to the Supreme Court. Accomplishments as president: I spent the surplus and bankrupted the treasury. I shattered the record for biggest annual deficit in history. I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period. I'm the first president in US history to enter office with a criminal record. During my first year in office, I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history. After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history. I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips than any other president in US history. In my first two years in office over two million Americans lost their jobs. I cut unemployment benefits for more out of work Americans than any president in US history. I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12 month period. I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history. I signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any president in US history. I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history and refused to use the national reserves as past presidents have. I cut healthcare benefits for war veterans. I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. (http://www.hyperreal.org/~dana/marches/) I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history. Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history (the 'poorest' multi-millionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has an Chevron oil tanker named after her). I'm the first president in US history to have 30 states simultaneously go bankrupt. I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world. I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any president in US history. My biggest life-time campaign contributor presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation). I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history. I'm the first president in US history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community. With a policy of 'dis-engagement,' I created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years. I failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive.' I failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months, I have no leads and zero suspects. In a little over two years, I created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the US has ever been since the civil war. Records and References: I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in the state of Maine (my Texas driving record has been erased and is not available). I went AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during the Vietnam War. I have refused to take drug tests or answer questions about drug use. All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been removed to the George Bush Sr.'s library, sealed in secrecy and are un-available for public view. All records of any SEC investigations into insider trading or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and un-available for public view. All minutes of meetings for any public corporation on which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and un-available for public view. Any records or minutes from meetings the vice-president or myself attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and un-available for public review. How about that little "White Water" thing. And lets not forget who bought the Clinton Presidency, China.... (bankrupt states...ya really think this can happen in a year?) How the hell is 9/11 his fault...You telling me that if Mr Cigar was in office OBL would not have killed 3,000 people? Uh yeah right. As for not tpping the reserves....Seems like it was not need now huh? Geeze you people kill me. Ron 7 #17 June 2, 2003 Simple John... The policies put into place don't start to work right away...Economic policies take time to have an influence... Just because Bush was in office when something happend does not mean he did it. And the BS about 9/11...Come on...you are telling me that it would not have happend with Clinton in the office? John...you are smarter than this. Of course you will say I am stupid since I don't have a PHD. But when I say something about skydiving, and I have 3X the jumps you do...And you say I am wrong if you don't agree with me? wmw999 2,150 #18 June 2, 2003 Nya nya nya your mother wears army boots. Or something like that. This list, like any other, should be read, and its separate (and they are very separate) pieces evaluated like the discrete data they are. Anything less is giving more importance to the compiler than to the data. Some are real, some are bullshit. The "longest vacation" thing for instance is pretty much just blowing smoke (and there are others). However, it's surprising how people who think this is treasonous would agree entirely with a similar list about Clinton. As a by-the-by, I dislike Bush; he seems to think that if he says something, that means it's true, and that if he has the power, that makes it even more so. So he likes power. That's kind of very scary in a US President. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

SkyDekker 1,147 #20 June 2, 2003 I got that list emailed ot me as well. Some of the accusations seem to be a little far fetched, and some are stated more than once in different wording. I do have one question, something I have wondered about. I am very surprised that the military likes him so much. You would think that a deserter would not be so highly supported by the military. Personally I have less problems with some one getting head than some one driving drunk, regardless of political views.
Gravitymaster 0 #21 June 2, 2003 What amazes me is not just the person who sits around and thinks one person is to blame for all the ills of the country, but the person who reads this type of character assasination and has such shallowness of intelligence to believe it to be true in it's simplistic context. Ron 7 #22 June 2, 2003 QuotePersonally I have less problems with some one getting head than some one driving drunk, regardless of political views. Well for drunk driving...There is always Ted Kennedy. As for why the military likes him....Well: We hated Clinton...never served at all, and he cut the military to the bone. Also Clinton was seen as dishonorable...a big deal to the armed forces He claimed he was gonna let gays serve openly...not a good thing trust me. I don't have a problem with gays, but some do....and history has shown that it caused problems. Part of it I am sure is we liked his dad. For the most part modern forces like Republicans... The military is big about not giving you anything...really, I mean ANYTHING...Dems like giving the house away. When you have people in the Army living below poverty level...And we WORK hard....And you have people hangin on the block getting handouts? It kills us. so its kinda simple. jfields 0 #23 June 2, 2003 QuotePersonally I have less problems with some one getting head than some one driving drunk, regardless of political views. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well for drunk driving...There is always Ted Kennedy. But you were talking about Clinton. Shifting towards a random Democrat as a negative example is useless. Democrats could all point at Trent Lott, for example. Stick to the people in question. QuoteHe claimed he was gonna let gays serve openly...not a good thing trust me. I don't have a problem with gays, but some do....and history has shown that it caused problems. History also showed that there were problems letting blacks and women serve. Problems need solutions, not a codification of the problem to justify it. QuoteThe military is big about not giving you anything...really, I mean ANYTHING... When you have people in the Army living below poverty level...And we WORK hard....And you have people hangin on the block getting handouts? It kills us. Agreed on that one. Ron 7 #24 June 2, 2003 QuoteHistory also showed that there were problems letting blacks and women serve. Problems need solutions, not a codification of the problem to justify it. I agree...Have you served? Do you remember the 101st and the gay trooper? They killed him. Stupid, and I don't agree with it. But they still did it. And I have seen several others get harased. So for the protection of the gays in the military....stay in the closet until gays are accepted openly in the civilian world...The military is YEARS behind in comparison to the cililian world when it comes to personal freedoms. There are reasons for it however..You give up your personal freedoms when you serve to protect the rights of the nation. This list...just like the ones about clinton are about 99% bull shit...I didn't believe in the Clinton ones either. I didn't like Clinton..I don't believe in giving away the store to lazy people, and I found him personally corrupt. But I didn't write, or resend crap like this about him.
